Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team in Belfast. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical and medical care to a diverse range of pets. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement treatment plans, perform surgeries, and collaborate with a team of dedicated veterinary professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive examinations and diagnostics.
  • Administer vaccinations and medications as needed.
  • Perform routine and complex surgeries in a safe manner.
  • Consult with clients on preventative care and nutrition.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development.
  • Manage and supervise the veterinary clinic's operations.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Foster a compassionate environment for pets and their owners.

Requirements

Education
  • Veterinary Degree from an accredited institution
  • Additional certifications in animal care
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a clinical setting preferred
