We are looking for a proactive Farm Business Manager to lead our operations at our Clacton-on-Sea farm. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in agricultural management, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily farm operations including production, budgeting and marketing efforts.
• Collaborate with the management team to set farm goals and long-term strategy.
• Utilize data-driven insights to improve yield and reduce waste.
• Engage with agricultural advisors and networks to stay updated on best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, costs, and production volumes.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with organic certifications.
• Prepare reports for stakeholders on farm performance.
• Develop community outreach strategies to promote sustainable agriculture.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences or related disciplines
• MBA or equivalent qualification in business management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of direct experience in a managerial role within the agricultural sector
