Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Data Scientist to join our Edinburgh-based team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills alongside expertise in machine learning and statistical analysis. You will be responsible for interpreting complex data, providing insights, and contributing to data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise statistical methods to test hypotheses and validate data models.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
  • Work closely with IT to ensure data quality and reliability.
  • Iterate on models and algorithms based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Prepare data for analysis and build robust data pipelines.
  • Contribute to the development of new data products and features.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
  • Master's degree or PhD preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis or data science
