Job Description

The National Service Officer plays a critical role in assisting veterans and their families in navigating government benefits and services. In this role, you will provide guidance, support, and advocacy to ensure that veterans receive the benefits they are entitled to.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for veterans seeking assistance.
  • Review and process applications for benefits promptly.
  • Develop partnerships with local veterans’ organizations to foster community support.
  • Provide educational workshops on benefits and resources available to veterans.
  • Conduct follow-ups with veterans to ensure their needs are being met.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
  • Master's degree is advantageous
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in social work or a related field, ideally working with veterans.
