Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Research Funding Officer to join our Nottingham team. In this crucial role, you will identify funding opportunities, write compelling grant applications, and liaise with research teams to secure funding for impactful projects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research to identify suitable funding sources for various research projects.
  • Prepare and submit proposals that meet funding agency requirements.
  • Assist in developing project budgets for grant applications.
  • Provide feedback and support to researchers in refining their proposals.
  • Ensure timely submission of all funding applications.
  • Conduct post-award monitoring to ensure compliance with funders' conditions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Postgraduate qualification in fundraising or related area is preferred
Experience
  • Proven experience in applying for and managing research grants
