Marble Setter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Marble Setter to join our team. You will be responsible for setting and installing marble materials for an array of projects. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of stone materials and the ability to execute tasks with precision.

Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, and install marble according to design specifications.
• Apply sealants and grouts for moisture resistance.
• Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship in every installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during installation.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and securely.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project updates.
• Assess and uphold safety standards on-site.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Apprenticeship in stone masonry preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in marble and natural stone installations.

Technical Skills

• CNC Machine Operation

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Project Management Experience: Experience overseeing stone installation projects from start to finish.
• Health and Safety Certification: Hold a valid CSCS card or equivalent health and safety certification.
