Dirt Shoveler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and physically fit Dirt Shoveler to join our excavation team. This role involves various tasks related to soil movement and requires strong endurance as well as the ability to work as part of a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Support excavation projects by moving soil and other materials.
• Ensure tools are clean and well-organised at all times.
• Help team members achieve daily project targets.
• Follow instructions for safe operation of small machinery.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Assist in setting up job sites and securing necessary permits.
• Keep accurate records of daily tasks and materials used.
• Maintain physical fitness to meet the demands of the role.

Requirements

Experience

• Previous excavation or landscaping experience an asset.
