Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Urban Planner to join our Bradford office. The successful candidate will work on a variety of urban development projects, utilising their expertise to strategically assess land use and infrastructure planning. Candidates should have a passion for creating vibrant communities and improving the urban landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on land use and urban design standards.
  • Conduct demographic and socio-economic analyses.
  • Develop project timelines and budgets.
  • Supervise junior planners and interns effectively.
  • Collaborate with engineers on infrastructure development.
  • Utilise analytical tools to assess project feasibility.
  • Develop proposals for grants and funding in urban development.
  • Conduct site visits to assess the impact of existing projects.
  • Stay informed on legislation affecting urban planning.
  • Present findings at planning commission meetings.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies or related field
  • Master's degree in Urban Planning is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in urban design or planning
