Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Building Safety Manager to oversee compliance with health and safety regulations at our Salisbury site. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assessing risks, ensuring that all building projects meet safety standards, and facilitating a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain safety protocols for all construction operations.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance safety awareness among employees.
  • Utilize incident data to inform safety improvements and strategies.
  • Provide guidance on safety-related issues to project teams.
  • Monitor and audit safety compliance regularly.
  • Document safety concerns and propose corrective actions.
  • Work closely with subcontractors to ensure their compliance with safety practices.

Requirements

Education
  • NEBOSH National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is beneficial
Experience
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in the building safety sector
