Job Description

As the Director of the Arts and Humanities Council, you will provide strategic leadership, guiding initiatives that promote the arts and humanities. You will oversee operations, manage staff, and engage with community stakeholders to ensure the success of the council.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Arts and Humanities Council in setting organizational goals and priorities.
  • Cultivate partnerships that strengthen community engagement and promote the arts.
  • Oversee program development and ensure alignment with the council's mission.
  • Monitor financial performance and adjust strategies to ensure sustainability.
  • Advocate for funding opportunities and community support for arts initiatives.

  • Support a diverse and inclusive workplace that encourages creativity and innovation.
  • Engage with stakeholders to secure support for arts and humanities initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts, Humanities, Business, Management, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
