As the Commission for the Blind Director, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring the organization meets its objectives while managing a dedicated team. Your leadership will direct the development and implementation of strategies to support the visually impaired community, making a tangible impact on their lives.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic planning and management efforts across departments.

  • Monitor operational performance and implement improvements as necessary.

  • Manage human resource functions, including recruitment and training.
  • Establish a framework for accountability and performance measurement.

  • Oversee fundraising initiatives and grant applications.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Public Administration)
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
  • Leadership Proven track record in leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Budget Management Experienced in preparing and managing budgets effectively.
  • Communication Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem Solving Skilled in identifying issues and developing effective solutions.
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience working with visually impaired individuals or in a related field.: An understanding of the challenges faced by the visually impaired community.
  • Experience in fundraising and donor management.: Proven ability to secure funding and manage donor relations.
