Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate Social Worker to join our team in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping vulnerable individuals and families, providing support and guidance while advocating for their needs and rights.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of care plans.
Assist clients in understanding their rights and accessing available resources.
Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in urgent situations.
Facilitate support groups and community outreach programs.
Advise families on available resources and support systems for clients.
Work with legal representatives and court systems for child protection cases.
Document case notes, progress reports, and necessary referrals.
Engage in community development initiatives to promote well-being.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
Master's in Social Work or equivalent is advantageous
Experience
2+ years of practice in social work with vulnerable populations
