Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Social Worker to join our team in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping vulnerable individuals and families, providing support and guidance while advocating for their needs and rights.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of care plans.
  • Assist clients in understanding their rights and accessing available resources.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in urgent situations.
  • Facilitate support groups and community outreach programs.
  • Advise families on available resources and support systems for clients.
  • Work with legal representatives and court systems for child protection cases.
  • Document case notes, progress reports, and necessary referrals.
  • Engage in community development initiatives to promote well-being.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
  • Master's in Social Work or equivalent is advantageous
Experience
  • 2+ years of practice in social work with vulnerable populations
