Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Bottom Turning Lathe Tender to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating bottom turning lathes and a strong understanding of lathe operations. In this role, you will set up and operate machines to produce precision components while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct setup and testing of lathe machines before production.
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.
• Train and mentor junior staff and new operators.
• Report any machinery malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production outcomes and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in machining is an advantage

Experience

• 2-3 years relevant experience as a lathe operator.

• Machine Maintenance

Advantageous

• Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs: Capable of minor repairs and maintenance on machinery.
