We are seeking a Food Technologist to join our innovative team in Swansea. The successful candidate will play a vital role in product development, ensuring quality and compliance with food safety standards, while exploring new ingredients and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative food products and assess their market viability.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure product integrity.
• Conduct research on emerging trends in food technology.
• Provide technical support during the manufacturing process.
• Assist in training production staff on new product recipes and procedures.
• Evaluate the impact of ingredient substitutions on product quality.
• Prepare and present findings to senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or a related field
• Master's degree highly regarded

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the food industry

Technical Skills

• Sensory Evaluation Techniques

Certifications

• ISO 22000 Lead Auditor
• Certified Food Scientist (CFS)

Languages
