Job Description

As a Petroleum Inspector Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate inspection activities for petroleum products. Your role is vital in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, while maintaining a high level of quality control and safety. You will lead a team of inspectors, evaluate inspection reports, and liaise with various stakeholders to resolve any concerns. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering precise inspection services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the inspection team, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
  • Create and implement inspection protocols aligned with industry best practices.
  • Lead safety briefings and training sessions for inspection staff.
  • Perform inspections and assessments on petroleum storage and transport facilities.
  • Identify areas for improvement in inspection processes and propose solutions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and compliance within the team.
  • Report on team performance and provide insights to senior management.
  • Utilise inspection software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Document incidents and take corrective action as necessary.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Petroleum Sciences is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in inspection roles
