Head Well Puller

Job Description

The Head Well Puller is responsible for leading a team of well pullers to safely and efficiently remove well completion equipment from oil and gas wells. This role requires both technical expertise and strong leadership skills. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in well intervention methods and a thorough understanding of safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage logistics for well pulling operations, including equipment and resource allocation.
• Implement a continuous improvement programme across all well pulling activities.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to design effective extraction solutions.
• Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions for the team.
• Prepare reports on operations, safety compliance, and team performance.
• Engage in stakeholder meetings to discuss operational updates and strategies.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in oil and gas operations, specifically well pulling.
