As an Environmental Engineer in Birmingham, you will play a crucial role in developing sustainable engineering solutions that address environmental issues. Responsibilities

• Lead environmental investigations and create detailed assessments of sites.

• Support project planning by providing technical guidance on environmental impacts.
• Engage with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance during project lifecycles.
• Prepare and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments relating to environmental hazards.
• Train junior staff on environmental practices and regulations.
• Promote sustainability initiatives within the company and clients.
• Coordinate with local authorities on public participation processes.
• Evaluate and select appropriate environmental monitoring equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Science
• Postgraduate qualification in Environmental Management is a plus
