We are looking for an enthusiastic Travel Coordinator to join our team in Barnsley. The successful candidate will assist clients in planning and organising their travel itineraries, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
Organise and confirm travel bookings for clients efficiently.
Provide information to clients about travel plans and requirements.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Assist in the marketing of travel packages and services.
Prepare reports on travel activities and client feedback.
Support team members in handling complex itineraries.
Facilitate the payment process for travel arrangements.
Develop relationships with travel suppliers and partners.
Identify opportunities for upselling additional services.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
Diploma in Travel and Tourism is an advantage
Experience
2+ years working in a customer service role, preferably in travel
Technical Skills
GDS knowledge (e.g., Amadeus or Sabre)
Travel planning software
Soft Skills
Attention to detail
Time management skills
Languages
English: Fluent
Advantageous
Familiarity with travel insurance and policies: Knowledge of travel insurance options and managing client claims.
