Job Description

Join our healthcare team as a Medical Records Specialist, responsible for the accurate documentation and management of patient records. This role is essential in supporting healthcare professionals while ensuring compliance with data privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update patients' health records in compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Organise and manage both electronic and paper health records.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate accurate documentation.
  • Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in health records.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management is preferred
Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting
Technical Skills
  • Data management software

Languages
