Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Welding Teacher to inspire and educate future welders. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons on various welding techniques while ensuring students grasp both theoretical and practical aspects of the trade.

Responsibilities

  • Design engaging welding curriculum that meets educational standards and industry needs.
  • Incorporate modern teaching methods and technology into lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students to address individual learning needs.
  • Organize workshops and industry visits to enhance practical learning experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations within the workshop environment.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the welding program through feedback and innovation.
  • Mentor students seeking career advice and guidance in welding-related fields.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to discuss curriculum and student progress.

Requirements

Education
  • National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in Welding
  • Relevant degree in Education preferred
Experience
  • Proven experience in teaching or training roles in welding

  • ARC Welding

Certifications
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Teaching and Assessing in Education and Training (TAET)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
