Job Description

As a Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver, you will play a critical role in transporting logs from forests to processing mills, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of timber products. This position requires excellent driving skills, a valid CDL, and the ability to navigate long routes efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Drive heavy vehicles over long distances in a safe manner.
• Keep daily logs of driving hours and maintenance performed.
• Assist with loading and unloading of timber products.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers for route updates.
• Ensure compliance with weight regulations and transport guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience driving a log truck tractor trailer

Technical Skills

• Physical strength

Certifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) UK driving licence

Languages
