Job Description

The Instructional Material Director will be responsible for overseeing the development, design, and implementation of instructional materials across a variety of educational and training programmes. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong project management capabilities, and a passion for developing engaging learning resources.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the development of instructional materials for both traditional and digital learning environments.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of instructional materials and implement enhancements based on feedback.
  • Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the instructional design team.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to align instructional design with company goals.
  • Create project timelines and manage resources effectively to ensure project completion.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for instructional materials and assess their impact on learning outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field
  • Professional Certification in Instructional Design or related field is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in instructional design or related field
Technical Skills
  • Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Authoring Tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate)
  • Graphic Design Software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Video and Audio Editing Software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Audition)
