Job Description

The Chainstitch Elastic Attacher is responsible for sewing elastic onto clothing using a chainstitch machine. This role involves ensuring that garments meet quality standards and producing garments efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Utilise the chainstitch machine for attaching elastic with precision.
• Maintain a consistent workflow while ensuring quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues with machinery and report major malfunctions.
• Collaborate with peers to meet production targets.
• Ensure all work meets health and safety guidelines.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss production efficiency.
• Help with the setup and configuration of the chainstitch machine as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Training in sewing machine operation is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 1-year experience in garment manufacturing or a related role
