Job Description

As an Art Therapist at Creative Health Services, you'll use various art forms to help individuals express their emotions and address mental health issues. You'll work with diverse age groups, providing both individual and group therapy in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in expressing themselves through art as a medium for healing.
  • Conduct assessments to identify emotional and cognitive challenges faced by clients.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic techniques.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to monitor and evaluate client progress.
  • Lead community workshops that promote mental health awareness through arts.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and standards in therapy practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Art Therapy, Psychology, or related field
  • Master's degree in Art Therapy is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Art Therapist
