Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Athletic Trainer to join our dynamic team in Wrexham. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to our athletes, including injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement.

Job Responsibilities
  • Administer first aid and emergency care to injured athletes.
  • Assist in the development of strength and conditioning programmes.
  • Foster effective communication with athletes and their families.
  • Monitor and evaluate athletes' progress and provide feedback.
  • Participate in professional development and training workshops.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • Master's degree in Sports Science is preferred
  • Injury Assessment Skilled in assessing and diagnosing sports-related injuries.
  • Rehabilitation Techniques Proficient in designing and implementing rehabilitation plans.
  • Strength and Conditioning Experience in developing conditioning programmes for athletes.
  • Emergency Care Trained in providing emergency care and first aid in a sports setting.
  • Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork Able to work collaboratively with coaches and medical staff.
  • Problem-solving Strong skills in identifying and resolving athlete-related issues.
  • Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC)
  • First Aid/CPR Certification
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with sports technology: Familiarity with wearable tech and performance tracking applications.
  • Knowledge of nutrition and diet planning: Understanding of dietary needs to support athletic performance.
