Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Food Batchmaker (Conche Operator) to oversee the conching process in our chocolate manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure the chocolate reaches the required quality standards while efficiently operating and monitoring the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Control all aspects of the conching process to ensure optimal results.
• Adjust settings based on chocolate type and desired flavour profiles.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to hygiene standards.
• Monitor productivity metrics and suggest improvements.
• Maintain strong communication with production teams to facilitate workflow.
• Assist in the onboarding of new team members.
• Engage in health and safety training as part of ongoing development.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical qualification in food processing or manufacturing is advantageous

Experience

• Experience in chocolate manufacturing or related food production environment is beneficial.
