Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Soil Health Specialist to join our team in Wigan. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of soil health and sustainable agricultural practices, and will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing recommendations for soil management.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and troubleshoot soil-related issues affecting farm productivity.
  • Collaborate with agricultural scientists to conduct research on soil health improvement.
  • Engage with community groups to promote awareness of soil health issues.
  • Identify opportunities for grant funding to support soil health projects.
  • Participate in industry conferences to represent the company and share insights on soil health.
  • Document and track project outcomes to measure the impact of interventions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
  • Master's degree in Soil Science or Agronomy is an advantage
Experience
  • 2+ years of practical experience in soil health consultancy
