Job Description

Join our skilled Rehabilitation team as a Recreational Therapist. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing personalized therapeutic programs for patients on their road to recovery. Collaboration with healthcare professionals is key to ensuring holistic care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' needs and preferences to develop tailored therapeutic activities.
  • Lead engaging therapy sessions that foster physical and social engagement.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a holistic treatment approach.
  • Document therapy outcomes and adapt strategies based on patient feedback.
  • Provide guidance on adaptive equipment and assistive technologies.
  • Facilitate family involvement in the rehabilitation process.
  • Participate in staff training and development programmes.
  • Promote a positive atmosphere for patient recovery and wellbeing.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Recreational Therapy or a related field
  • Relevant certifications are a plus
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in rehabilitation therapy.
