Job Description

As a Recreational Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with the planning and delivery of enjoyable recreational activities tailored to our clients' needs. Your focus will be on ensuring participant safety and enhancing their overall experience through engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and assist with recreational programming based on client needs.
  • Conduct safety checks on equipment and facilities.
  • Assist in training and onboarding new staff or volunteers.
  • Facilitate communication between participants and the management team.
  • Support community outreach activities to enhance programme visibility.

Requirements

Education
  • GCSEs or equivalent
  • First Aid certification is mandatory
  • Vocational qualifications in Sports Coaching or related fields preferred
Experience
  • Experience working with elderly or vulnerable individuals is advantageous.
Technical Skills

Advantageous

  • Additional language skills: Ability to communicate in a second language can be an asset.
