Chicken Picker

Job Description

The Chicken Picker is responsible for the accurate selection and picking of quality chicken products in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work as part of a team ensuring safety and hygiene protocols are followed very closely.

Responsibilities

• Pick and sort chicken products in accordance with established guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in training new staff on picking processes.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or issues promptly.
• Contribute to process improvements within the picking operation.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss performance and targets.

Requirements

Education

• Experience in a similar role is advantageous

Experience

• Previous experience in food production or processing is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Forklift operation
• Inventory management systems

Soft Skills

• Flexibility

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Forklift or pallet jack operating experience: Hands-on experience in using material handling equipment.
