Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our practice in Corby. You will play a key role in pet health and wellbeing, performing medical tasks and providing support to both animals and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
• Provide nursing care to sick and injured animals.
• Conduct lab tests and assist in diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding animal care.
• Manage clinic supplies and assist in inventory control.
• Ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

Education

• Qualified Veterinary Technician or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary setting.

Technical Skills

• Animal care

Certifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with exotic animals: Familiarity with the care and handling of exotic species.
