Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated GP to join our growing practice in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, developing treatment plans, and providing health education to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat minor injuries and ailments.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Support administrative staff in practice operations.
  • Advise on lifestyle changes to improve patient health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure patient care is prioritized.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship to junior medical staff and trainees.
  • Participate in research projects related to general practice.
  • Maintain a high standard of professional and clinical practice.
  • Contribute to practice accreditation and quality assurance processes.

Requirements

Education
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Postgraduate training in family medicine is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a GP role or similar clinical setting
