Job Description

We are seeking a Dental Receptionist to join our team in Slough. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient appointments, communicating with patients, and providing excellent customer service. If you have a friendly disposition and excellent organisational skills, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate appointment scheduling and follow-ups efficiently.
  • Respond to patient queries and provide clarity on dental procedures.
  • Input and update patient information in the system accurately.
  • Support team members in ensuring smooth patient flow.
  • Oversee the cleanliness of the reception area and waiting room.
  • Assist patients with payment and insurance processes.
  • Manage correspondence including emails and documentation.
  • Conduct general office duties to support dental operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the dental team to improve patient experience.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant certifications in dental assisting or administration are a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a reception or administrative role, preferably in healthcare
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of dental terminology
  • Ability to operate office equipment
Soft Skills
  • Interpersonal skills

Certifications
  • CPR Certification
  • Dental Receptionist Course (optional)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
