Job Description

The Construction and Maintenance Inspector is key in ensuring our projects meet safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will conduct regular inspections, review plans, and provide guidance to maintain our commitment to quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead inspections of construction projects to assess adherence to safety protocols.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications for compliance.
  • Ensure documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Advise on necessary improvements based on inspection outcomes.
  • Conduct evaluations of materials and workmanship quality.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to promote quality assurance.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints or concerns raised during inspections.
  • Conduct training sessions for contractor teams on safety compliance.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of all inspections.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with laws.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Postgraduate qualification is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
