Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our Nottingham team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and problem-solving for our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations for all users. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with network connectivity, and maintaining IT documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support to staff, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues regarding software applications.
  • Assist with email and account management tasks.
  • Implement and monitor security protocols across systems.
  • Conduct training sessions for new software tools.
  • Work on IT projects, assisting other departments as needed.
  • Ensure tech solutions are delivered within timelines and budgets.
  • Evaluate and recommend new IT tools and solutions.
  • Conduct routine audits of equipment and systems.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Information Technology or related field
  • Higher qualifications preferred
Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a technical support role
