Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Rug Frame Mounter to join our team in Manchester. As a Rug Frame Mounter, you will be responsible for accurately mounting rugs onto frames in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to meeting production targets are essential.

Responsibilities

• Accurately mount rugs to ensure correct tension and placement.
• Monitor the production process and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge of textile machinery.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
• Follow instructions from the Production Manager and lead team.
• Handle materials and tools safely and effectively.
• Help in the packing and dispatching of finished products when required.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Training or prior experience in textile manufacturing preferred.

Technical Skills

• Textile machinery operation
• Quality control

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving abilities
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to work flexible hours: Willingness to adapt to changing shift patterns as required.
• Experience in team leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor junior staff or new team members.
