Job Description

Join our team as a Roller Mill Operator, where you will be responsible for the proficient operation and upkeep of roller mills. This position is ideal for individuals who have a solid understanding of milling processes, and possess the ability to ensure top-notch production quality while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Run roller mills to produce flour according to production schedules.
• Fine-tune machine settings for optimum performance.
• Conduct regular quality checks of finished products.
• Assist in troubleshooting and solving any mechanical problems quickly.
• Maintain an orderly workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned after use.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss production goals and improvements.
• Document and report any maintenance actions taken to enhance machinery lifespan.
• Participate in risk assessment meetings and safety drills.
• Engage in research about improved milling practices and machinery advancements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in industrial machinery operation is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.

Technical Skills

• Milling Processes Knowledge
• Quality Control Skills

Advantageous

• Experience with quality improvement processes: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to enhance production efficiency.
• Previous supervisory experience: Experience managing a small team in a production environment.
