We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Restorative Art Embalmer to join our dedicated team. This role involves preparing and restoring deceased individuals to achieve a peaceful and natural appearance for their loved ones during viewings.

Responsibilities

• Execute embalming and preservation techniques adhering to protocols.
• Conduct restorative art procedures enhancing the deceased's natural look.
• Collaborate closely with families and funeral directors for fulfilling specific requests.
• Ensure all embalming processes meet local health and safety regulations.
• Prepare and present bodies for viewings, honouring cultural traditions.
• Counsel families during the grieving process with compassion and empathy.
• Document all procedures meticulously according to legal requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of mortuary science training
• Certification in grief counseling preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in embalming and restorative work

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of embalming chemicals
• Cosmetic Application

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Funeral Director's License

Languages

• English: Fluent
