Job Description

Responsibilities

• Engage patients in recreational activities to promote overall wellbeing.
• Provide personal care to patients, maintaining hygiene standards.
• Assist patients in mobility and physical exercises.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of patient care and services provided.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and their families regarding care.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care preferred

Experience

• Minimum 1 year in a healthcare support role

Technical Skills

• First Aid Certification
• Medication Administration

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Palliative Care: Experience in providing compassionate care for patients with life-limiting illnesses.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations: Understanding of health and safety practices within a healthcare environment.
