Job Description

The Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for operating various sewing machines to produce high-quality garments. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and an understanding of garment production processes. You will be part of a skilled team dedicated to maintaining efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of sewing machines to complete garment assembly.
• Ensure consistency in stitching and quality by following company standards.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on sewing machines to maintain performance.
• Review production schedules and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report progress.
• Assist in other areas of production as required, including fabric cutting and inspection.
• Contribute to team meetings, providing feedback on production processes and tools.
• Manage time effectively to ensure on-time delivery of garments.
• Continuously improve personal sewing techniques and knowledge of garment production.
• Support new team members in learning sewing operations and safety procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational certificate in sewing or garment manufacturing is preferred.

Experience

• Experience with industrial sewing machines is an advantage.
