Compressor Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Compressor Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing air compressors, ensuring they are functioning efficiently and safely. This role involves performing routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, and communicating with customers about their air compressor needs.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission new compressor systems.
• Maintain a high level of customer service.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
• Report any issues or concerns to the Compressor Manager.
• Follow up with customers post-repair for satisfaction feedback.
• Assist in shop management duties if required.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational or technical training in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Certification in air compressor repair/maintenance is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in air compressor repair/maintenance

Technical Skills

• Excellent mechanical skills
• Use of mechanical tools and equipment

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Time-management skills

Advantageous

• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed: Ability to adjust hours based on demand.
• Valid driver's license: Necessary for travel to various customer sites.
