Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Retail Salesperson to join our passionate team in promoting and selling horticultural products. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, acquiring new clients, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and articulate the features and benefits of various horticultural products.
  • Build rapport with customers, creating a welcoming shopping environment.
  • Monitor competitors and stay updated on market trends.
  • Assist in merchandising to display products attractively.
  • Engage in upselling and cross-selling to increase sales volume.
  • Assist in training new staff regarding product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Report regularly to the Sales Manager about performance and market insights.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Strive to meet and exceed personal and store sales goals.
  • Provide exceptional after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Education
  • Any relevant qualification in sales or horticulture is preferred
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales, ideally within the horticultural sector
