Home Health Aide

Job Description

We are looking for compassionate Home Health Aides to provide personal care and support to vulnerable adults. The ideal candidates will assist with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing and dressing.
• Help clients manage medications and monitor their health.
• Support clients in social activities and community integration.
• Maintain accurate records of clients' care and progress.
• Conduct risk assessments and update care plans accordingly.
• Ensure a safe and welcoming home environment for clients.
• Foster a supportive relationship, offering companionship and care.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding clients' status.
• Encourage clients to engage in activities that promote independence.
• Coordinate with family members and other caregivers as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
• Completion of a certified Direct Care Professional training program

Experience

• Prior experience working with vulnerable adults or in a healthcare setting is preferred.
