Job Description

We are looking for a Healthcare Administrator to oversee operations within our healthcare facility in Birmingham. This position will be essential in enhancing the quality of patient care through effective healthcare management, streamlining processes, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills and be adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  • Assist in the hiring and training of new administrative staff.
  • Track and report on departmental performance metrics.
  • Ensure that all healthcare standards of practice are being adhered to.
  • Manage conflicts and patient complaints effectively.
  • Regularly review and update operational policies to meet new health regulations.
  • Encourage a culture of teamwork and accountability within the team.
  • Keep abreast of developments in healthcare legislation and regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Services Administration or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is an advantage

  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare operations or administration
