Job Description

As a Public Health Administrator, you will play a critical role in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of health programs aimed at improving the wellbeing of populations. You'll coordinate with local health departments to ensure compliance with health regulations and promote public health initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of public health campaigns.
  • Gather and analyse health data to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with local authorities to assess health needs.
  • Ensure effective communication of public health messages.
  • Manage relationships with community partners for health programs.
  • Supervise staff and volunteers involved in public health initiatives.
  • Conduct training for health workers and volunteers.
  • Monitor and report on health program outcomes.
  • Serve as a liaison between health organisations and the community.
  • Provide recommendations for policy improvements to enhance public health.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or Health Administration
  • Master's degree in Public Health is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare or public health environments
