Job Description

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team in Belfast. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. You will conduct audits, investigate compliance issues, and provide guidance on regulatory requirements. This position is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the compliance management framework and monitor compliance performance.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on compliance matters.
  • Review and analyse compliance documentation and prepare reports.
  • Work with the management team to develop compliance strategies.
  • Provide recommendations on compliance risk management.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop communication materials to inform staff about compliance policies.
  • Facilitate internal compliance investigation processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for senior management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Compliance Management or related field
  • Relevant certifications in compliance management preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in compliance roles
