Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Farmworkers to monitor and maintain the safety and well-being of livestock, wildlife, and natural resources. This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, ensuring the health of animals and the integrity of the environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular assessments of animal health and report any issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of livestock and farm activities.
  • Participate in conservation programs aimed at protecting local wildlife.
  • Support farm operations during busy periods, including harvest.
  • Assist with educational programs for local schools on sustainable agriculture.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in livestock or related outdoor jobs.
Technical Skills
  • Horsemanship or ATV operation
  • Fencing and maintenance skills
Soft Skills
  • Effective communication
  • Problem-solving
Certifications
  • First Aid Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of invasive species management: Experience with identifying and managing invasive species.
