Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cotton Ginner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating ginning machinery and ensuring the efficient processing of cotton from harvest to bale formation.

Responsibilities

• Manage processing of cotton from harvest to bale formation.
• Ensure machinery operates effectively and efficiently.
• Conduct routine checks for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with the production team to improve processes.
• Document production outputs and machine performance.
• Handle maintenance of equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Train new staff on ginning operations and safety practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional certifications in cotton ginning (preferred)

Experience

• Prior experience in cotton ginning or related field is required.

Technical Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of cotton processing techniques

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Effective communication abilities

Advantageous

• Experience operating specific ginning machinery brands: Proven skills in managing machines from leading brands in the industry.
• Knowledge of cotton grades and classifications: Understanding various cotton types and their processing needs.
