We are seeking a dedicated Food Safety Officer to join our team in Llanelli. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance with food safety regulations and implementing effective quality assurance protocols. This role is essential for ensuring the safety and quality of our products.

Responsibilities

• Manage the food safety audit schedule and response to findings.
• Stay updated on food safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential food safety hazards.
• Support product development with a focus on food safety considerations.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement in food safety practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Food Safety Management or similar
• Postgraduate qualification in Food Technology is desirable

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in the food industry

• Food Safety Auditing

Certifications

• Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) Certificate
• Level 4 Award in Food Safety

Languages

• English: Fluent
