Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Horticulture Manager to oversee all aspects of our horticultural processes. The ideal candidate will lead our team towards the achievement of sustainable agricultural goals while ensuring optimum yield and product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of agricultural initiatives, focusing on sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all horticultural activities.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of crops, adjusting techniques as necessary.
  • Engage with suppliers and distributors to maximize efficiency in product delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders on progress and innovations.
  • Foster relationships with local farmers and agricultural organizations to share knowledge and resources.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science or Botany
  • PhD in Horticulture preferred for advanced positions
Experience
  • 5+ years in a supervisory or managerial role within horticulture or agriculture
